Beats me !!!

The only services offered by BT AFAIK are ISDN2 (vanilla ISDN) and ISDN30
which is a 30 channel service designed for big PBX's.

He might mean using 2 ISDN lines into a router capable of aggregating them
into a single 256Kbit channel.

Video conferencing units are often capable of operation like this. At work
we have a PictureTel unit that can run at 384Kbit aka ISDN6. This is done
by
connecting to 3 seperate ISDN lines and paying 6 call charges.

Can't answer any of your questions, but what is ISDN 4?

Is it an NTE that takes 2 incoming lines?
