Ian,

I can't recommend this as I don=92t have one, but looking in the
Rapid Electronics catalogue, a firm that Keith Doxey uses. They do the
following.

SMD Soldering/re work tweezers.

A pair of mains powered heated tweezers providing a fast and effective
method of soldering and de-soldering surface mount devices. Tips are
available in a wide range of sizes for resistors etc up to dual inline
IC up to 30mm in length.

Part no 85-6110 =A344.90

Tips range from 2mm - 30mm and are =A35.90 to 7.30

They can be contacted on 01206 751166.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Paul
