RS sell (or it might be used to sell) an iButton controlled door lock.

You might also be able to acheive the same effect with the standard ibutton
parts, you can buy a receptacle for ibuttons that you can recess into the
wood around the door.

Also look at the java based Tini (also from Dallas) as your controller for
the ibutton locks.

I'm aiming to retrofit 1-wire ID chips to my existing alarm contacts, but
that's a project for the future.

One last thing. Make sure you order your ibuttons & other 1-wire
devices in
plenty of time, as they are notorious for their very long lead times ...
