Ah of course, I remember now, thanks for the reminder :)

You should definitely get something. What are you aiming to claim for?

Do they have any compensation arrangements similar to BT's one month's rent
per working day after 48 hours or something along those lines? They once
had
to pay me. I am still kicking myself for not checking the whole thing out
more thoroughly since they didn't pay me HH monthly amounts in my
compensation. I think that he current description states the standard line
rental fee as the rate so someone must have tried it on since the original
was IIRC not nearly so clear cut.

Anyway, I digress, my point was that it would be a useful way to generate a
claim if they have a published compensation rate. It is how I once
successfully charged my bank :) I think that I undercharged them, but the
fact that I managed to charge a bank made me feel better than the money I
got from it.

In some ways it is unfortunate that you have nothing in writing about their
promise to resolve the matter, but it should help if you end up in court
since you have made numerous attempts to resolve it, while they have made
no
effort. Their lack of contact will only go in your favour, it just means
theat NTL will likely "misplace" their records of the telephone
calls. But
you seem to have kept excellent records of the problems so I can't see it
being a real issue.

Best of luck.

Mark.
