Yep this is on topic .. eventually.
Today I ordered a 512kbps cable moden service [sorry Mark] ... due to
be installed next thursday [hopefully, and may even work].
Anyway, I asked about running a web server soley for HA and security
use [explaining that it would be secured with very few people having
access etc] and the bloke went off and checked ... and returned to
say that there was no problem with that whatsoever.
So as some of us thought, their refusal to allow web/ftp servers is
too stop high bandwidth use, not just to be irritating gits :-)
