Disagree sorry.

I have enjoyed the banter since christmas which has brought me out of
lurker status.

Since then I have bought a tivo cheap that I've wanted for ages,
Ordered a c*m*ra that was a great deal.. Learned about how consumer
law/small claims law court and jury service worked, as well as fixing
a problem we've been having with our nt boxes at work for 7 months
(highpoint controller). All strictly off topic, but wouldnt have
occured to me otherwise.

I've also posted two not strictly HA questions and had replies (in
the midst of the kodak postings) within 30 minutes with solutions.

The best list I've ever subscribed to - sorry...

The yahoo entry page says:

"We pride ourselves on having one of the friendliest, most helpful
lists around. You won't get abuse for asking a "newbie"
question
and there aren't ANY flame wars here unlike certain newsgroups. If
the message volume is too high for you, you can still subscribe and
have a digest email sent once a day or even turn off email all
together and just read the articles you're interested in on the web. "

I agree.

When the volume got too high for me a few months ago - I switched to
digest - but now I.m back..

Matthew IMHO - Not flaming ;-)
