Developer rather than gamer perspective but they are quite close I guess :)
TFT might be OK depending on the game. The problem is the refresh rate of
the screen being too low for games that "demand" a high frame
rate. You will
tend to get distortion and shearing of the image. Games that allow the user
to specify the refresh rate should work OK alternatively games with a
target
frame rate of 30 frames per second or under should work OK.

Likely to be full screen rather than "Windowed" games then so
will likely
have problems.

Recommend he spend the cash on HA stuff instead :)
