If Kodak were to fulfil every order without question, it would cost them a packet. The most likely course they'll take is to wait until people threaten legal action, and then fulfil the order rather than go to court. That way, they'll only have to send out cameras to those people who are prepared to fight for them - which is likely to be a quite small proportion because most people won't bother.

 

Small claims is cheap and, after all, it's a bit of fun!

 

I wonder if Kodak will be revamping their e-commerce system soon?

 

Wish I'd ordered one myself, now - I don't want one, but it would be fun to take it the distance.

Got through on the phone. All they have been told is what is on the email and that is the only info Kodak will be releasing.

 

ME: Where is my camera?

KODAK: Kodak are not going to fulfill yor order because it was a mistake.

ME: I don't care. You had an invitation to treat @ £100, I offered, you accepted. End of story.

KODAK: But...

ME: I have an email confirmation and a contract for Kodak to supply me the camera @ £100. Where is my camera, the email said it was in stock?

KODAK: The price was wrong and the official site was changed after 24 hours.

ME: So how was I able to order and get a confirmation? Was it an unoffical site I ordered from?

KODAK: eh.. No...

ME: So what do you mean?

KODAK: I only have what was in the email you received.

ME: So its to court is it?

KODAK: That is up to you but Kodak are not going to fulfill your order.

ME: Are you not Kodak?

KODAK: Yes, we are, but the big people upstairs are not going to to fulfill your order.

ME: Thanks for nothing, see you in court sucker!!

 

Well it's not word for word but you get the idea !
