A long time ago way back when the list had about 200 members............

Anyway, a guy called Nigel Orr put together this extender which is good for
going from room to room. I think it will be more reliable than the one
mentioned.

It is slightly more complex and uses a TSOP1838 for receiving the IR which
has filters etc. built in. If anyone wants help building it shout. I also
have a PCB plan is anyone wants to use it. As a point of note use a
tantalum
or similar cap for the 120pf.
