I'd certainly be interested in the i-Scan Pro 3 if you can get that
kind of
target price.

IMO component is better that S-Video, whether it's worth
the
hassle or
not is another matter given that few amps will switch a
component
signal
but almost all AV amps will switch S-Video fine. I put Keith's
modules
on instead of using a lengthy cable and there was a
noticeable
difference in quality, sharpness etc.
As for a line
doubler...it's next on my hitlist of things to get,
probably a DVDO
i-Scan as
its great VFM as well as a terrific little
product. I am talking to a
guy in
Canada and one in the US about this
just now to see what I can get the
i-Scan
Pro 3 for as it will accept a
240V supply and handles PAL, NTSC and
SECAM. If
anyone is interested let
me know and I'll see in we can organise a
"bulk"
buy, bearing in mind
that bulk in this case will be two or three in all
likelihood and the
target price is around a "landed" £400 or so, not bad
given that the UK
price is £700.
