This is fairly common and is something to do with the charge level when the pack is inserted - I believe it's addressed in teh Pronto FAQ on remotecentral.

I recently got another new Pronto and have a problem, well not really a problem as such, just something that is irritating me and I’m sure that this was discussed before or something similar so maybe someone can shed some light on it.

The new Pronto sits on its cradle and the charge light comes on fine, after a short while the charge light goes out as it should (well it does on the other two when they’re charged up!) but the battery charge is reported as only being about half full however the Pronto seems to work fine and doesn’t ever seem to drop below that half way point, any ideas?

K.
