What about a second PIR facing you (behind your keyboard) even with
just the odd keystroke or mouse movement should trigger it.
Or...
You could have a look at http://www.qprox.com they have some very
cheap proximity sensors, so the fact that you were sitting in the
chair would trigger it.
You could also applyy the same theory to the toilet issue. I'd keep
the PIRs as normal but the qprox stuff looks like it's ideal for this
sort of task.
