Shame if they're not doing it any more as it was a cracking card (with IDE RAID and all that) - Paul Gordon put me onto it!

Also the Dabs Value controller supported IDE RAID which the PROMISE controller doesn't (unless you hack it as described on www.tomshardware.com).

I bought one of the Dabs Value ATA100 cards which cost about £15 and is also an IDE Raid controller ... works fine.

 

I also bought one of the Promise ATA133 cards which took a couple of weeks to come through (again from Dabs and on teh same order) - was about £56 IIRC.
