So far it’s a question of what doesn’t work…

  1. Messenger client is not included but I managed to find an MS web-page which promised a download sometime in Q1
  2. TS client is not included, couldn’t find a download site
  3. Reader is on the CD as is Transcriber
  4. When I connect over the LAN Active Sync seems to think the machine’s a guest when I’ve set up a partnership
  5. The Q menu plus task menu have been replaced with a snazzy new menu, but Compaq have included shortcuts to applications which no longer exist…

I’ve been trying to get this f***er to work for 6 hours on and off – good thing I don’t have a day job any more…..

Tim.

Let us know how it goes.

I believe the CD does not include some of the apps you can load into RAM like the TS client.  I think you may be able to download these extras though.
