Don't know for definite, but I suspect so. The problem is that PDC doesn't
exist on the digital channels. So basically Tivo has to use the EPG times.
The problem is that BBC1&2 tend to run a couple of minutes behind
schedule,
hence you loose the end of programs. On commercial channels it's not a
problem because to only loose the ads. You can set a manual recording, a
give a later end-time, but this negates one of the best features of the
Tivo - the ability to record all episodes of a series automatically.

The next release of software will allow you to add padding to recordings. I
don't think that anyone has a real idea about how the padding will work in
reality.
