Upgrading the drive/s is relatively easy although I have yet to get
around to it because after using TiVo for a few days you will never look
at TV in quite the same way...I just couldn't live without it! If you
want my advice upgrade the drives before, or just after you start using
the machine.
Hmmmm, just been watching Pitch Black through it and is it me, or does the sound sometimes sound like someone's "leant against the tape reel" and slowed it down every now and then?  It did it on a David Attenborough documentary earlier too which I initially put down to an old VT.

Anyone know what the latest software release is?  Or is that a known issue (that's fixed I hope....)?
