Intelligent
Light Switching - Thoughts?
> Agreed, but you can
“fudge” it by using timers within HV, even in rooms where
little or
no movement can or is detected,
I have tried this. Good
example is my Study. In the end I had to set the timer for over 3
hours
to make sure it didn't switch off when I'm at my keyboard. But then
everytime I went into the study to get a pen or whatever I would have the
lights on for the next three hours. Even turning it off on the way
out is
impossible cause the PIR gets you as you exit and turns them back on.
Then
I get to the crazy situation of having to close the door and slide my hand
thru
a crack from the outside to reach in and switch them off -
lol.
Hence my list of rooms in the
last post. In these room automatic lighting is a god-send (very high
WAF
too). In the others it's just a
pain.
