Well guys ... Need to ask a favour.
Once again we have had a power outage today and on coming back up it
seems that one of my IDE drives has suffered a controller failure. I'm
going to try it on a different PC in the hope that it's the controller
on the motherboard that's failed but if it is the drive controller then
it's my graphics drive that has gone up shit creek.
The drive mechanism I'm assuming is intact but does anyone have a 27Gb
Maxtor IDE drive (I'll find the model number later) that I could
possibly borrow to use the controller from to pull my old data off with?
Phil
