How timely! - I'm just installing my Comfort UCM upgrade as well...

I've just replaced the U1 chip with the new "Outside 1.144"
version, - that
appears to all be OK...

Just looking at the actual UCM board itself, I was wondering if the KA/KB
connectors that aren't there, (i.e. the blue pushfit screw blocks) are
actually active on the PCB? - I'm considering desoldering the 2-pin
connector bits from my old RS232 board, and soldering them onto the new UCM
- looks simple & straightforward enough, - even my soldering skills are
up
to that I reckon...

Then I caould just do a straight swap between the two boards, and continue
to use the pushfit blocks...

Anyone know if that will work?
