Paul,

Are these physically co-located.?

If so, it is probably an OPTICAL problem rather than an electrical one.

I have done an installation with 4 PACE manufactured stsellite receivers in a rack. They all use the same remotes which I used to my advantage. I programmed the receivers identically from Channel 2 upwards so they could still select any channel using the up/down buttons on the front panel but as they primarily used them for Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports 2, Sky Sports 3, Eurosport each receivr had its "Home" channel programmed as Channel 1. By pointing a remote at the rack and pressing "1" they could effectively restore normal operation if someone had been playing.

Whenever I needed to make changes I had real problems blocking IR. I had to use black tape and beermats over the IR windows to try to block the signals >from into one window will reflect out and may get picked up by another amps window.

If this is happening you need to reduce the level of the IR signal by fitting an additional resistor in series with the emitter. You can prove this by unplugging the emitter for the amp you dont want to respond. If it still responds then the problem is optical.

Of course, if they are in different rooms then all the above is complete B******* but might be of use to others who may have the potential for similar poroblems :-)

Does anyone else get problems with the 8 zone IR output board on Homevision.
I have 3 amps and 2 video's all with the same IR codes each on different
zones. When I run a certain macro intended for one amp its fine ie selecting
an input but if I run a similar macro on the other amp 2 amps respond
together again switching inputs. 3 amp is great and has no effect on the
other 2 when used. Seems IR is bleeding across zones, have tried all sorts of
combinations and IR leads but still no joy. Does anyone have any ideas?? 3
amps are all sony.

Cheers

Paul
