Basically...
64Kbits is perfectly adequate for most uses especially since it is a
true 64kbits rather than a modems theoretical 56k maximum under ideal
circumstances.
My router is set up so that if I use more than 48Kbits/sec sustained for
more than 60 seconds then it brings in the second ISDN channel - which
means that downloads get done at 128Kbits/sec (a meg a minute) which
isn't bad.
