It means the jvm in your browser couldn't load the code for the applet, it
might be worth checking the source code of the generated web page,
specifically around the aplet tag, and make sure the url's look correct for
your network setup.
If you copy and append the codebase and code values into your browser
address window it should download the code (it will be unintelligible
garbage but should at least prove the applet code is accessible) .
ie if codebase=3D"http://192.168.1.45/ddarappplets/" and
code="empegApplet"
type
http://192.168.1.45/ddarapplets/empegApplet.class
as the address
