VSMON is one of the programs loaded by ZAP.

On two of my PC's as I was unable to have ZA load at startup, I had to manually start it. If I tried to load it at bootup, it wouldnt start in time and ended up not responding. Ending the task would blue screen the PC.  :-(

Yes Keith I have got it pw protected and did log onto it.

I tried re-booting the DDAR before going to bed and it is still stuck in a boot-find music-shutdown cycle....

I have not tried it again today so maybe being powered off for a long while it might have sorted itself?????

Thanks anyway Keith,

BTW what is VSMON?

Brian,

When you shut down ZAP, did you logon to it first ? (assuming you have it protected)
If not VSMON continues to run in the background and will still block certain connections.

I had issues with ZAP blocking various ports internally. Since getting a hardware router I have stopped using ZAP.

Keith
