Nope ... I dug out some fishing scales this morning and to get the loo
to flush (and this is with a 3 month old syphon so it's not a knackered
or sticking syphon issue) requires a travel of 90mm and a "pull"
force
in excess of about 2kg. Nothing in the way of solenoids in RS or CPC is
going to come close to that unless I go for pneumatics.

I had wondered whether a washing machine pump would flow enough to get
the syphon action started but I don't think it would and it would also
mean running 240vac in a bathroom which is bad news!
