Yeah I was VERY impressed with it. Can't wait to get it back again now.
My 6 year old son, who just instantly understood what it did when I

dunno about the timing of the software upgrades, as I said the daily call
is mainly used for EPG updates, and software updates only when required.
Have you tried forcing the daily call again, now it thinks it's uptodae
with the EPG ?

As for the sound warble, what is the third part of your serial number

i.e.

023-0000-xxxx-yyyy

the xxxx bit, if it's 6022 or above then the software upgrade should
sortout any of the nicam warble problems, if it's below i.e 601F etc...
then the hardware may have a problem which I believe Tivo will sort out.

Bear in mind the nicam warble problems ONLY affect the RF record NOT
recording with the SCART.
