Trouble is they aren't stored as 0s and 1s, but hexadecimal octets which
represent the 0s and 1s. It isn't quite as simple as that as equipment
uses different frequencies and coding schema.

In a CCF file you can find the individual buttons learnt codes......

The strings of 0's and 1's - could you cut and paste these into girder?

in that case (question "B") how do I get the actual IR Codes out
of the
CCF?

Girder needs the actual bitstream, which can be captured easily if you
have
the remote to sample, but I can't seem to find anywhere!
