Where this stands is:

It took me *ages* to get the UIRT working, and I'm not certain what finally
fixed it. I built mine up on stripboard, and am *not* confident of
repeating it.

I have the circuit schematic which worked, and I have been trying to make
up
a PCB using Eagle CAD. (thinking that this would be easy enough to then
assemble) The problem(s) are:

a) I don't have much time
b) I am learning Eagle CAD as I go along!

So, at the moment, I can't make one for you. But I *am* working on it! :D

Ian.

Ah, just the man I needed to speak :) What you are saying is that you are
able to capture the TV's original remote IR signals with Girder and able to
send them to the TV using Girder (and this can be on a trigger of a
complete
different remote control) ?

Will you please make me one?

Q.
