If you are watching live TV through the TiVo then I would imagine it's OK.
If you have jigged your SCART leads around so that (for instance) your TV
is
connected to the VIDEO connector on your STB then (as well as to the TV
connector on your TiVo) then you will find that TiVo will sometimes switch
your STB when it wants to record something as it's in standaby.

The reason I connected this way was that SWMBO moaned about yet another
remote (in order to just watch TV) and the fact that if the TiVo is in
standby it won't pass video through. I just wacked the TV onto the STB
VIDEO out and everything worked as normal (in her eyes).

Before you ask, yes I do have a Pronto - but haven't had time to programme
TiVo into it. Besides, she won't use that either - I must've done
something
terrible in a former life or something!
