I have a question:
I'm considering buying a Linksys BEFSR11 broadband router.
After searching around a bit, it's not whether it is possible do port
redirection with this unit. e.g 9922 on the router forwards traffic to port
22 on one of the machines on my LAN.

The main reason for this is that I would prefer not to give script kiddies
an open invitation to try and hack into my network by opening common
ports(21, 22, 80 etc). Even if security is tight, I would imagine if a port
scan revealed 22 to be open, they would devote a bit of time to trying to
get in, rather than moving on.

Cheers,

Justin.
