True, but it's 199 + 200 lifetime sub (or, granted, a tenner a month) and
how often do you see it advertised?
Does the man in the street know what it's all about?
I would get a TiVo, but SKY+ is more attractive because of the dual tuners,
recording of the digital stream and (most importantly) the AC-3 output.
BUT it is way too expensive ATM - would consider if there was a lifetime

price) and is tied to sky (obviously), and hardly anything is broadcast in
AC-3 (yet).
If Tivo could do AC-3 then that would probably do it for me.
Indeed, could live with TiVo and SKY+ (when the price is right) except

couldn't get rid of my VCR as I need it for Maisy, Thomas the Tank engine
etc for the kids - not all of these crucial proggies have been xferred to
DVD yet unfortunately :(
