RE: Barcode scanners

Not yet Mark, sorry.

Jan has rooms full of books, so it would be one hell of a manual task,
Seeing the price of this barcode scanner triggered my thinking of seeing
what could be done, as I would like them catalogued for insurance purposes,
and she would like them catalogued to make sure she doesn't buy any
duplicates :-)

Daniel,

Does this mean you have a reliable way to do BarCode -> Book details
coversion?

If so, have you got details.

I inputted the book details by hand, because I was ending up buying too
many duplicates. To be fair, I've only done the fiction so far, but
that's just over 2,200...

maybe I do but that's just me.)

I was more thinking about the hundreds of books we have..... and CDs -
reading the barcodes into a dB

Food *would* be a nightmare, and would take some time to set up, keeping
track of all the barcodes!! and as you say what about the specials....
