You can strip the internals of the keyfob transmitter

out then
wire the contacts for one of the buttons up to a standard doorbell push
button.

You could program the house controller to have different volumes for
different times of the day, loud for daytime and quiet for night when the
kids are asleep etc.

How about butchering a remote and putting a friendly front end to it.  I
think that's what the guys are getting at...

I'm trying dude - but SWMBO would most definitely not be amused.
Quick Poll:  How many of you with SWMBO's would get away with a notice on
the door explaining how to use the doorbell?
Thought so :-D

FFS(!) guys - help me out here.  I thought UKHA_D could solve _all_ my
problems :-}
