I was particuarly amused by the line:

- A salesman at Dixons, one of the major retailers supplying Sky+
equipment, was more forthcoming: "It's certainly possible. All they
have
to do is send out a control signal and they can stop you from recording
anything they want."

We all know what a well informed, and technically able cadre of talent
the Dixons sales force is. It's obvious that they would have at their
fingertips all the inside technical information about the hidden
features of Sky+ ;-)
