Make the most of the next few months. I'm sure most of my posts will be
on topic!

While I was pretty sure that a proprietary hard wired route was the way
to go, I just couldn't discount X10 off-hand due to the huge price
advantage. I'm also after something that I can set scenes using
switches/iPAQ/PC, but also directly control individual lights with a
Pronto.

It's a shame Leviton don't have plans to look at the European market -
I've heard from American friends that their "AGC" technology
makes a
huge difference to reliability.

I'm sure I'll get there, but given that the entire house is 4 rooms, I
really don't relish spending a fortune.

It looks like the HAI Omni II is going to be the solution (from
www.homeauto.com)
