I tried it at Grahams house where the condtruction is such that you are
lucky to get a signal outside his lounge (which is where the AP is
located) and I went from no signal to three/four green bars!

I originally was wanting to use it to try to regain the connection with
my wireless LAN from next-door-but-one where I seem to spend an awful
lot of time rebuilding their PCs after their kids have installed every
coverdisc app going! I used to get a passable signal there but recently
it has dropped off to nothing ... I reckon the intervening neighbours
have resited some furniture in their house which has attenuated the
signal just a bit too far for the wireless LAN to work with!

Don't know whether it works there yet though...
