I take it HV works out standby from an LED on the front of the TV or by
current draw......? Hmmmmmm..... Loads of things on my shopping list
before an HV :)

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm....... Sounds like a good idea..... But then, thanks to
Scottish Power's ineptitude, we've never had an electrickery bill in 18
months of moving in...... Despite repeated phone calls saying "Please
send me a bill to pay, meter reading X, initial meter reading Y",
meter
being read on several occasions.... They refuse to acknowledge it...! :S
:S

So power saving isn't top on my list ;>
