Re: kinda [OT] Mobile to landline.

The company I work for (mobile network provider in Ireland), provide a
product called a BEELIINE. Basically, it is a small "modem" type
device
which makes the gsm phone simulate the same conditions as a landline. Its
normally given to small businesses with a couple of mobiles, The BEELINE is
plugged into one of the customers outgoing PBX trunks, and then some
routing
settings on the PBX decides to route all mobile calls out via this trunk.
It
aslo accepts incomming calls from the BEELINE. Teh effect is all mobile
calls made by the customer are routed entirely over our own network,
meaning
cheaper mobile to mobile calls for the customer, and more revenue for
ourselves...
Dont know where the hardware comes from or who manufactures it, but if your
interested let me know and I will find out.

Regards,
Eamon
