very time consuming to actually get this stuff done.

I'm sure there will be different opinions here, but I would seriously
think twice about wiring these things inline. Just think what
problems it might cause with selling the house or getting an
electrician in to do any work. My advice is to try to keep stuff as
standard as possible. At least if all DIN rail modules are in the
consumer unit then you have some normality. Also if all switches are
wired back to LD11s individually then it is possible to return to non-
X10 wiring by making connections at the consumer unit.

No sorry, I am using Homevision and Comfort for control (plus a mini
timer).
