Extending the TW7223 X10 Interface

Right

I cannot isolate my x10 problems - i'm getting corrupted or non delivered x10 messages. Homeseer isnt picking them up from the TW7223 in Comfort.

Everything else in the house is fine, and the x10 filters do NOT fully help with the DDAR.

So, what I'll have to do is extend the TW7223 RJ11 lead (via CAT5) and plonk the unit slap next to , or actually in, the CM12 interface for Homeseer to pick up correctly.

Anyone tried this before ? I presume the TW7223 is crossed cable? Can I turn off the mains power to the house, and remove the TW7223 , whilst the battery keeps Comfort going (without causing any damage to anything) ?

Thanks

G.
