It's a fair point. Fine if you only get a few mails a day (excluding this group), but I get over 150 emails a day (excluding this list - I mirror it to a seperate mail in database and doesn't touch my mail file). If I cut and paste everyone, I'd be here all bloody day.

Maybe we should find another maillist list provider that doesnt populate it full of crap (no comments about my sig again please)

I don't want to get in to the 'Off Topic' vs 'On Topic' debate as
this has been discussed numerous times. But I do have to support Tim
on this point. I know that yahoo is crap at threading and I am not
going to get into the 'replies at top' vs 'replies at bottom' war
either. But surely we have the technical ability to do a bit of
cutting when replying. Especially if your reply does not relate to
the original content.

Of course, I know that in the past I have been criticised for
deleting everything I am replying to and so I am bound to be in
favour of snipping.
