Yep, but you forgot to mention that you're also putting the aerial for
the card behind a large lump of metal (server case!) inside the node 0,
rather than having the option of putting the AP with its aerial wherever
you want to get best reception round the house.

Of course, than is negated if external aerials are used ;)
