Okay, just now, I use an AM10 for the K400, and do the switch off, wait a minute, switch on again trick to toggle the curtains. obviouslly, it would be much nicer to have a discrete Open or Close.

Reading this, I think that I could power the curtains all the time, directly from a wall socket, and use a 240V relay with one Normally Closed and one Normally Open Contact, plugged into the AM10, and wire it so that when the module is powered, "Common" is connected (through the Normally Open contact) to the "Open" Command Line and when the module is turned off, the Common is then connected (through the Normally Closed) to the "Close" Command Line...

In this case, I would think you could simply use the AM10 so that switching on opens the curtains, and off closes them?

Any problems with this ?

Ian.

One of the connectors has control lines.  IIRC  you connect the "open" line to common (using switch or relay) to initiate open and similarly for close.  I have the details at home so can post on Monday if required.
