I'm considering buying some of these but wanted to know the following:

Does the unit go "klunk" like an appliance module every time it
switches on
or off?? I know it's a lamp module but because it doesn't have dim is it
just a noisy appliance module in a different casing?

Are there any bayonet X10 devices which do allow dim?
