Hi Steve,

The B&W camera I have has IR LED's.

I have covered them with black tape as my camera is inside the house
pointing out through the window. The LED's were reflecting in the glass and
all I could see was 6 white dots !

I have quite good outside lighting so dont need the IR...its just that the
camera had them fitted.

Screen grab of outside attached.

Keith

You might like to consider the one I bought from Henry's for the nursery
(can't remember the model, but I posted about it before). It's colour where
there's enough ambient light, otherwide B&W and it has automatic IR
illumination. They do another one that switches to B&W when the light
level
drops but this produces a 'combined' colour and B&W image. Very good it
is,
too.

Steve
