PC: Serial Ports

I'm sure I'm not the first to have this problem - a serious shortage in the
serial port department:-(

Anyone got any good sources for said items?  A 4 port PCI card or similar
would be nice - or even an additional 2 ports would do.

Back in the good old days when 'on board serial/parallel ports' was just a
pipe dream, you could get serial IO cards ten-a-penny. (NB:  this is not
the
begginning of another 'when I were a lad' thread :-)))
These days it all I can see are 8 port jobbies costing 100's for specialist
high speed comms.
I don't need high speed, I just need more ports.

OR USB versions of CM11/Slink-e/Intersekt etc.... :-)
