If you want German MTV2 you need an older box as some of the the newer ones have a videocrypt decoder permanently in circuit. MTV2 isnt encrypted but they send out a signal that makes a decoder think it is, it then tries to unscramble it but fails. (Pace MSS Series)

Some boxes route the signal either via the internal decoder or an external one. These can be fooled by fitting a dummy SCART plug into the decoder socket and connecting Pin 19 to Pin 20. Set the box to External Video and it will route through the dummy decoder and give clear picture. (Pace 800/900 series)

I think I still have a Pace 9200 somewhere. Will dive into the loft to see if it is there.

Re: Tom & Jerry. you want Sky Digital 603 Boomerang. Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo, Flintstones :-))

ITV digital have all the wrong channels IMHO :-(

touched some contacts....fried some resistors....and waht else I don't know....

I like the german MTV2 which gives constant music, not like the UK version...it also has a lot of German and continental groups/musicians and the english speasking ones as well....When my joints are very sore and I'm stuck in bed, on a Saturday or Sunday it is much better than normal tv as my son hogs the itv digital box for Cartoon Network..yuck~~~ Now what was wrong with good old Tom and Jerry, Hector's House and the like....much better in my opinion
