Darren, I have the same, but it doesn't replace the front of the Master socket. It just plugs onto it like splitter, so you don't need to open socket and deal with wires.

That's why I don't understand why they don't send this ADSL faceplate (it's filter as well, I think) to people.

You don't need BT engineer, nor any tools.
