If you're doing any sort of hacking, one of the first steps is making a
backup image (approx 300MB) which can be used to recover your settings
to a new Tivo/ hard disc etc. Unfortunatley when I did mine I only had
about 50 season passes... :( and if you update a lot, it's a pain to
pull the drive and re-backup regularly. I don't know if there's one
single file that can be copied over the network or if there's several.

Yeah, if you install a network device (or setup a serial connection - a
Pronto lead will do the job, but still requires pulling the drive) and
install TivoWeb, you can display a listing of season passes and copy and
paste into excel or something.
