Glad you got one in the end, I love mine! I only wish you could use more
that one for around the same subscription, as 1 off any recorder never
seems enough.

Do the channels purposely put something good on all channels at once on
purpose?

Well, the Lowe Household has joined the Tivo Club.
Now to get one of those Turbonet Cards...

It was of course, far more difficult than it should have been.

Powerhouse Uddingston: "I heard they were shite. What would you want

those for?"
...much inane babbling, followed by "that one has no remote, box or
cables"
Ian: "Forget it"

Ian: "Do you have any Tivo recorders left?" (pointing at gap in
display with
"tivo" sticker)
Comet Uddingston: "Yes, we have 2 in stock, at ?150"
Ian: "The ticket there says ?97"
Comet: "Thats just for the display one"
Ian: "huh? The sticker doesn't mention 'display only'"
Comet: "I'm sorry sir.."
Ian: "Well, why don;t you go get one from stock, and put it on
display,
where that ?97 sticker is."
Comet: "I can't do that"
Ian: "Forget it"

Ian: "Is this your last Tivo?"
Currys Airdrie: "Yes, would you like a demo?"
Ian: "Thats okay, I know what it can do, I'll take it"
Currys: "I'll just get the box"
