They are available cheaper PCI to Serial cards (2serial + 1 paralel), like the one from Innovision.
Here is only $18.

P.S. Another option is to use all of them on the same COM port (see my IRM application which will be available in a couple of days using the same COM port for infrared, X10 (CM12 interface) and Frank's FirM interface) if this is possible.
